Triangular Mass, 2016

Triangular Mass is a composition for multiple triangles, which is performable by all, regardless of previous musical knowledge or training.

The Triangular Mass was composed with the aim of creating a safe enviroment for performing music.

The ensemble is playing triangles in different sizes, each player in their own pace, creating a crystalline and prism like sound. The sound of the individual triangle and the individual player is dissolved and the sound reappears in another form.

Triangular Mass was commissioned by the Icelandic Dark Music Days festival, and

has been performed at Dark Music Days festival, G((o))ng Tomorrow, Roskilde Festival, CPH:DOX, Suoni Per Il Popolo (CA), Akusmata (SF), Nordic Music Days (N) and various other places.
