Ufærdiggørelser (2025)
A practice of entry and (r)effacing – a state of hypering through a process of repetition and recirculation.
The outcome of this praxis is a series of Ufærdiggørelser (Incompletions) in which journal entries are effaced repeatedly, making the paper surrect and curve inwards and fold back onto itself - an ongoing open-ended process of incompletion.
A seismic shift in which the paper body is (r)effacing – offering a convergence of time and space, as a celluloid place of spacetimemattering in which my temporal reflections are answered by the geological mattering of the paper body.
The background of my writings comes forth, materialising through a dynamic in which written expressions become the impressions (and expression) of the paper body.
[T]he surfaces of bodies ‘surface’ as an effect of the impressions left by others.....emotions create the very surfaces and boundaries that allow all kinds of objects to be delineated.
